In today's digital age, small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) and startups are increasingly vulnerable to cyber threats. SourceDirect Consulting Ltd aims to assist these organizations in identifying and analyzing their security threats and needs. The project involves conducting a comprehensive security assessment to pinpoint potential vulnerabilities and recommend mitigation strategies. The goal is to provide SMBs and startups with actionable insights to enhance their cybersecurity posture, thereby protecting their sensitive data and maintaining business continuity. This project will allow learners to apply their knowledge of cybersecurity principles, risk assessment, and threat analysis in a real-world context.



Key tasks include:


- Conducting a security audit of a sample SMB or startup.


- Identifying and categorizing potential security threats.


- Developing a risk assessment report.


- Recommending security measures and best practices.

Deliverables

The project will culminate in a detailed security assessment report and a presentation summarizing the findings and recommendations.
