Practical Application of International Building Codes

This experience focuses on the practical application of international building codes, equipping learners with the ability to interpret and apply these codes to real-world construction projects. Learners will gain a comprehensive understanding of building restrictions, standards, and requirements that ensure public safety and welfare. Through this experience, learners will be able to translate theoretical knowledge into actionable insights, assisting companies in ensuring compliance with international building standards.
Building Construction Documentation and Practices

This experience focuses on the practical application of construction practices, specifications, and contracts within the building industry with a particular focus on the roles and responsibilities of the architect and their design team. Learners will gain insights into the roles and responsibilities of various professionals involved in construction projects, from architects to subcontractors. By understanding the intricacies of legal documents and construction phases, learners will be equipped to contribute effectively to architectural projects. This experience will enable learners to apply their knowledge to real-world scenarios, enhancing their ability to manage and execute construction projects efficiently. Students engaged in this Course are in their second year of studies and have completed coursework in basic building science, basic structural concepts, digital design media/BIM applications, architectural history, sustainable design principles, and architectural freehand drawing and design.

Community Oral Health Program Planning Experience

This experience is designed for learners enrolled in an internship course focused on community oral health program planning. Learners will gain practical experience by applying principles of oral health education and community program planning in a real-world public health setting. They will develop skills in assessing community needs, creating strategic program plans, and implementing oral health initiatives. This hands-on experience will enable learners to understand the internal operations of public health programs and effectively contribute to oral health promotion and delivery.
