Woulibx Website and Mobile App UI / UX Design & Prototype
Our company would like to explore designing a prototype for its website and a native mobile application version of our current web based product. We currently plan to test our product via the web and we would like to start to attempt to capture some of that user activity via a mobile application. Tasks may include: Conducting background research on our existing web application for the product. Identifying key areas of our current product and how they might translate to a mobile application. Learning and using various software design tools. We strongly recommend students learn how to use Figma as this is the latest and greatest tool currently available. Creation of a screen by screen UX / UI prototype of a native mobile application which can be used on both iOS and Android Conducting UX / UI testing with real potential users potentially involving paper prototypes or other software tools to support this Design Requirements A mix of modern and minimalist design interface for the web and mobile application An intuitive navigation, easily accessible for everyone Compatibility to all screen types (smartphone, laptop, tablet and TV) and to all popular web browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, etc.) The design of all the interaction patterns (buttons, forms, menu) for a better user experience 2.Current application technology (web & mobile) The frontend is developed using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and several libraries and frameworks, including jQuery, Bootstrap, Owl Carousel, Toastr, SweetAlert, Google Maps API, Google Translate API, Facebook SDK, and Google Sign-In, to enhance user experience and functionality. For validation, the jQuery Validation Plugin is utilized. The backend is powered by Node.js and Express.js, ensuring efficient server-side operations. EJS (Embedded JavaScript) serves as the templating engine, enabling seamless integration of JavaScript within HTML. Additionally, other libraries such as IziToast, Intl-Tel-Input, and Timepicker contribute to improved interactivity and usability.

By analyzing key players like Fiverr, TaskRabbit, Handy, and Upwork, the project will identify successful business models and map competitors based on pricing, commissions, user experience, and client acquisition strategies. Additionally, field research will be conducted to gather qualitative and quantitative data from potential users, including freelancers and clients. The ultimate goal is to provide WoulibX with actionable insights to develop a viable, differentiated, and locally adapted service model that aligns with their focus on geolocation, local economy, and sustainability.

Santé Diversité – Web Development Project
